WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME FOR MY PHOTOS?

For any session other than a wedding, 2-3 weeks is my sweet spot! Some seasons are muuuch busier than others, so while sometimes I may be able to deliver earlier, I will never deliver LONGER than this time-frame.

For weddings, normal turnaround time is no longer than 90 days! Above applies here too. 

* NOTE: I do offer a 2-day turn around time for an additional fee that you can purchase! *wink wink* Ask me about this!

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH FAMILIES AND BABIES? BOUDOIR? EVENTS? QUINCEÑERAS?

I mostly photograph couples and families. I love photographing Seniors, content photography, and even proposals here and there! Weddings, I do regularly.

The only way I photograph newborns is at your home, more of a lifestyle session. You'll be comfy with babe at home, snuggling your little bundle, and I'll be capturing a lot of little precious moments. I don't put babes in baskets all wrapped up in perfect blankets. 

I do boudoir shoots for my brides-to-be, but those are either at my client's home or an airbnb should my client choose to rent one out. Other than that, I refer someone who does them exclusively.

I don't do events or sports shoots. I occasionally do Quinceñeras, depending on season availability. 

DO YOU TRAVEL?

I do! I live in Midland TX, and for local areas in the Permian Basin, I travel at a fee. Anything over a few hours, travel fee varies. 

For a wedding, I have rad Destination Collections that INCLUDES travel accommodations in my prices! Oh yeah! ONE BUNDLE, HELLO!!

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

For general sessions, I require a deposit to secure your session! I use Honeybook, so you'll be able to pay online.

For weddings, I require a retainer and signed contract in order to secure your date! Dates for weddings book up 1-2 years in advance, so as soon as you set a date for your bid date, holla so we can get you secured! I usually secure those with a check, or money order. Payments thereafter can be maid via invoice or other method, (ask me about it!). 

DO YOU GIVE RAW (UNEDITED) IMAGES?

Nope. I never will.

 

I give fully edited photos only and I hope anyone who books me, books me because of the total package. The experience AND the final work! 

WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL/ RESCHEDULE MY SHOOT?

* NOTE: I do not give refunds

For a session other than a wedding, should you cancel, whatever you paid will be put towards any future service and will only expire after 1 full year from when you cancelled. 

For a wedding, your retainer is completely non-refundable. Anything you pay me thereafter, will go towards future services for 1 full year from when you cancel, until you completely use your credit amount.

If you need to MOVE your wedding shoot, just let me know as soon as possible of your new date, and if I have it available - it's a go! If I don't have it available, unfortunately the retainer is still non-refundable, and whatever you already paid will be applied to future services. 

If you need to reschedule any other type of session, you get 1 free reschedule. The second reschedule, you will have to pay your remainder balance due prior. For a third reschedule, you will have to pay for a new deposit and new total.

CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP ME?

For every regular session (not including wedding or events) I offer 3 free photo corrections or alterations. 

After that, for basic level retouching, i.e. removing acne/ brightening teeth/ sharpening an object, etc. - $7 per image

For advanced level retouching (if possible) - $15 per image

NOTE: Turnaround for alterations may take up to a week depending on how many.
ALSO - I do not make drastic alterations that change how you look completely; i.e. weight and your face.

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?

DIGITALLY. 

Any session other than a wedding, will be delivered via online gallery where you'll be able to download your photos. Don't worry - I give instructions how to do so! You'll want to download them to something secure like an online cloud or a flash drive. I give you one week to download your images before I inactivate your gallery. It will not be there permanently. 

For a full wedding, you will get your photos delivered via USB flash drive. I will message you when your gallery is ready, and we will arrange further details.

* NOTE: SUPER IMPORTANT

For weddings: If I give you a flash drive and any of the images have errors, I can make corrections or resend you files up to 4 months after delivery. As soon as you get your photos, look at them as soon as possible so you can tell me any issues.

Anything after the year could mean I no longer have your gallery because I had to free up space for new sessions/ weddings in my external drives. 

WHAT IF I NEED "ONLY ONE" PHOTO?

I don't believe in "only one photo". 

Any session, whether a headshot for "one photo" or anything else, takes time and I still have to plan for it in my schedule. 

The only "one photo" I do is a headshot and that still takes at least 10 minutes and I always take more than "one" photo that you can choose from. 

If it's not a headshot, the smallest session I have is a "Mini" for up to 30 minutes. Message for prices!

WHERE DO WE TAKE PHOTOS? DO YOU CHOOSE LOCATION OR I DO?

I mostly ALWAYS shoot outdoors, unless it's at your home or a chic, artsy coffee shop. 

I try to accommodate my client's preference as best I can if they have one. If they don't have one, I just ask that you trust me. Whatever spot I choose, it's going to look great in photos. I promise! I have many to choose from, so I usually wait till DAY OF, to let you know location of your shoot. I usually always wait even up till a few hours till your session because I'm always keeping my eyes open for the best spot and that can change. I just ask for patience on location.

DO YOU EVER CANCEL A SESSION OR WEDDING?

For a wedding, the only time I'd ever cancel is because of something super major. Like a death of an immediate family member. OR something super urgent happened, like a big car crash or my house caught fire!

NOTE: If something like this happened, I have backup photographers that photograph like me and will give you the same experience and professionalism I would. I wouldn't give anything less. 

For any other type of session, if I absolutely need to reschedule because something important has come up (emergency type stuff), I will let you know as soon as possible to reschedule.

WHAT IF I ABSOLUTELY DON'T LOVE MY PHOTOS? DO I GET A REFUND?

WILL YOU MAKE CORRECTIONS TO MY PHOTOS?

Every session I book, whether a wedding or general session, I state very clearly that I do NOT give refunds. This includes if you hate your session. 

I would hope anyone who books with me, books me because of my style and as well as what you've heard about experiences of working with me. Basically what you see is what you get. I don't really stray from my style of editing so I really hope you don't expect me to.

If you absolutely hate your session, I will give you a discount to a future session to try again. 

YES!

After you receive your photos, I will make up to 3 corrections for you, if I am able to!

Again, this is only for temporary corrections or blemishes like fly-aways, acne, and bruises. Something equivalently small like that.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER DOESN'T COOPERATE?

Because no one can control mother nature, sometimes rescheduling has to happen and I'm cool with it. I only reschedule if it's insanely cold, or tsunami windy, or hurricane raining!

FOR WEDDINGS, CAN I SUBSTITUTE ENGAGEMENTS FOR SOMETHING ELSE?

You can, actually!

You can sub engagements for bridals or boudoir.

* If boudoir is not at your home, you have the option to rent out an airbnb at your own cost.

DO YOU PROVIDE WARDROBE OR HELP WITH OUTFIT CHOICES?

I don't provide wardrobe, first off. BUT, I do guide my clients on what to wear for sure! I coordinate with the season we're in and give you helpful tips on how to choose your outfits. Once you book with me, I send you a link with wardrobe and other helpful tips, along with links to some amazing vendors I love working with!

DO YOU DO THEMED SESSIONS OR CAKE SMASH SESSIONS/ ANNOUNCEMENTS?

Unfortunately I don't do cake smash sessions. 

It's just my client(s) outside in the nature or a rad location or at a fun chic coffee shop (something equivalent), or at their home or airbnb! 

As far as ANNOUNCEMENTS, if it's a cute letter-board, maybe some other small prop from home, I'm down! 

WHAT IF I BOOK WITH YOU BUT I'M FROM OUT OF TOWN AND WE HAVE TO CANCEL BECAUSE OF WEATHER AND I DON'T KNOW WHEN I'LL BE IN MIDLAND AGAIN AND WANT A REFUND?

#1. I don't give refunds

#2. Your payment(s) WILL be good for one full year from your last payment date. That means that you will have one full year to plan a trip down here to take photos with me. Don't waste that money! Your session is still good with me and a year is plenty of time to schedule a trip back down here.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I BUY A PACKAGE WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE IN IT? DO THEY GET A LINK TO THE IMAGES TOO?

No! You, as the original purchaser of the package, will have the rights to share the link to whomever you wish, while the link is active. If you do not share with them and they reach out to me for the images, they will be charged full price for photos. 

WHY DO YOU ONLY GIVE 1 WEEK FOR ME TO DOWNLOAD THE IMAGES?

Because I have many galleries rotating in my software to be sent out to many other clients to view, I have a certain amount of storage. The links are never permanent and no one has a permanent gallery. I think 1 week is just enough time to see the images, procrastinate a little, then download somewhere safe!

WHY DON’T YOU OFFER CD’S OR USB FLASH DRIVES?

I used to put the images on CD’s a long time ago, but I found it much easier to do as much as possible, online and digital images is easier, more convenient and much quicker when it comes to giving my client their gallery. It doesn’t take much to learn what to do when you receive your gallery - just make sure to read the email. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T UPLOAD MY GALLERY WITHIN THE 1 WEEK ALLOTTED?

Well, a few things can happen. Absolutely, your gallery link will be dissabled. There is a $15 fee to reupload it. However, I do not ever guarantee that I will have your link again, after sending it the first time. Not only, after a certain amount of time, do I delete galleries to make room for other ones, but over the years, I’ve come to find that not all external drives are reliable. I’ve had 2 of my very own, crash and break down, taking with it, many of my beautiful galleries. Thank God, none of them were ones I hadn’t given to my clients yet, but it still crushed my heart. With that, I say, download these images somewhere SAFE, possibly to a cloud or somewhere online. I offer no 100% guarantee that I will have them forever. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE SUN GOES DOWN WHILE MY WEDDING IS HAPPENING? - MY OUTDOOR WEDDING..

I strive hard to inform my clients of the best lighting times, and give the best possible advice for the best outcome for photos. But I can only do so much. If my clients go against my advice of lighting, whether it’s indoor or outdoor, I can only do my very best to do my best, but that by no means guarantees the most beautiful photos that would have most likely happened had my advice been taken. No matter what, we strive to give the very best, so we’ll always do our absolute very best! I can only control what I can control - not the weather or lighting.

WHY IS MY GALLERY ZIP NOT WORKING WHEN I TRY DOWNLOADING?

The truth is, zips confuse me. All I know is that you are able to download your entire gallery to a safe place onto your computer, a folder, etc. and then from that download, you are able to transfer your images to a USB or preference. I always suggest to download your digital images somewhere safe where you can access them any time. Something online or a cloud is going to be your safest bet, but that's up to you!

WHY DO YOU CHARGE TO HAVE MY GALLERY RE-UPLOADED?

I charge a fee of $15 to have your gallery re-uploaded because basically, it takes time and effort to do it. Time flies quick, and I value my time and I hope you do too.

WHAT IF I SHOW UP LATE TO MY SESSION?

Time of your session starts on the agreed upon time, whether you are on time and unfortunately, even if you are not. This isn't to be mean, but because I schedule my time slots accordingly and value my time. So please please arrive on time.

Ex: If you book a mini and we agree at 5:00 and you arrive at 5:15, that means you only have 15 minutes left. 

NOTE: If no communication is being made on your end of running late, I wait 10 minutes and then leave. To reschedule your session, your remainder balance will need to be paid prior to setting a date.
